The base is solid and weighted enough that my clipper doesn’t tip over when I set it down mid-trim. It fits both my Hitter and Protégé perfectly, and since it’s sold without the cord, I just kept my old one plugged in—no fuss.

I was tired of hunting for the charger every time my trimmer died, and this base finally puts an end to that. The fit is snug and solid for both my trimmers, so it clicks in place without wobbling. Just wish it came with the cord, but it's easy enough to use the one I already have.

Keeping a second stand on my desk means I never have to hunt for the charger mid-groom, and the base holds the clipper steady enough to set down between passes. The only thing I wished was included was the cord, but since I already have one, it's not a big deal.
