Swapped the old assembly in maybe ten minutes since everything lines up like the original lid, and the blade bracket is already attached so no fiddly bits to lose. The motor and battery being included together saved me from buying two separate pieces, and it fires up just as strong as day one.

The motor and battery came pre-installed, so it was genuinely plug-and-play after snapping the modular lid on. My old trimmer’s rear housing was cracked and this replacement feels much more solid when I tug on it. Took maybe fifteen minutes total, and it fires up first try.
